HOW TO GET THERE
In short: 41.8077° N 24.1188° E The road to the festival area passes through the wall of the Golyam Beglik dam, which is located 22 km from the town of Batak. Next is an asphalt road and a marked turnoff to Beglika 2025 on the right. About 3 km more of a forest road and you are with us! Drive slowly so as not to risk your car!

The best way to truly experience Beglika and the breathtaking beauty of the Rhodope Mountains is by staying in a tent!
The central campsite is situated within the festival area.
The additional campsite is located approximately 400 meters before the entrance, covering 30,000 sq.m. It is equipped with compost toilets, clean drinking water is available at the taps, and fires are only allowed in the designated fireplaces.
There is NO security at the additional camping area.
Pitch your tent next to friends or make new ones with your neighbors!
Leave only what you are willing to lose.

Once you are there, park in the official parking lot.
Don’t try to get as far as you can!
The forest road is narrow and maneuvering is difficult. If you have a problem, you can count on our volunteers who will help you.

Beglika and the family of the mysterious capercaillie
The Beglika area, nestled at an altitude of 1,500 m in the majestic Western Rhodopes, is known for many things.
The Beglika and Mantarica biosphere reserves stretch here, along with the protected areas of Slаncheva Polyana, Chatаma, Batlaboaz and Toshkov Chark. The area is rich in natural treasures – nearly 120 medicinal plants and coniferous forests, whose age reaches a respectable 200 years, and its name has remained from Ottoman times, when the Yuruk shepherds gathered here once a year to hand over to the authorities the beglik tax due for their livestock.
Beglika is also home to one of the most mysterious inhabitants of the Rhodopes – the capercaillie. Also known as the “wild rooster”, its mystical song can only be heard in the spring, when it performs its mating ritual. This bird, a symbol of the Begliка community, is strongly attached to its home — the forests that shelter its “family hearth” generation after generation.
